NAUVARI SAREE MARATHMOLI

The word Nauvari stems from the use of a nine-yard-long material for the saree. It is also known as Kashta or Lugade saree. The word ‘Kashta’, on the other hand, comes from the saree’s dhoti-style draping. Nauvari sarees are made of cotton and are worn without a petticoat.
